Foxfire and Tank's story is a fantastic addition to the series. You could probably read it without having read the other books in the series but your understanding of some of the threads in the story and your experience while reading this will be vastly enriched by reading the rest of the series first. Foxfire should be called spitfire because she is definitely a feisty little thing. Tank is aptly named and he is a rigid rule follower. It's great fun to see how frustrated he gets dealing with her and her hippy mom. There is life threatening danger, a bit of deliverance, support from the pack, some sadness and the finding that you may try to fight the fact someone is your fated mate but you can't hold out forever. I loved these characters and following their journey towards their HEA. Foxfire Hines isn't afraid to fly her freak flag. With rainbow-colored hair, a snarky, take-no-prisoners attitude, and a personality to match, she's no shrinking violet. When her best friend, Amber, is stranded during a date, Foxfire ends up rescuing her. To say she's pissed at Garrett, the object of Amber's affection, would be an understatement. And Tank, a member of Garrett's "gang" showing up at her door instead of the pizza guy? Seriously? Demanding she tell him anything she knows about the Werewolves MC when she knows nothing is more than a little overkill. Does paranoid ring a bell? Not to mention that Tank's alpha male vibe ticks Foxfire off in record time. Can anyone say "incompatible?" But Tank's there to do a job, and he won't take no for an answer. Unfortunately, things never go as planned. Tank's not what he seems, and Foxfire soon finds out exactly what the Werewolves MC really is. When things go sideways in every way possible, Foxfire and Tank end up as a team, searching for answers to questions they never knew existed. As the two go from adversaries to wary friends to possibly more, everything that can go wrong does. Just when it seems Foxfire needs Tank the most, everything blows up in their faces. There are so many unknowns, so many twists and turns. Nothing is as it seems. Can anyone be trusted? When Foxfire finds herself in mortal danger, she soon finds out she'll need a lot more than luck to get her out of this one. Will Tank be there to save her? Even if he is, what can he do against such incredible odds? To find their way out of this mess is going to take a gigantic leap of faith and trust like neither of them has ever known. The question is, can they find it?Renee Rose and Lee Savino are beyond amazing. I've read nearly every book each of them has written. Individually, they're superb. As a team, they're truly the dynamic duo! This fourth book in the Alpha Bad Boys series is their best yet. There's nothing about this book I didn't absolutely love. From the breathtaking settings in the southwestern United States to the individual backstories and unique lifestyles of each character, I loved every second of this book. The relationship between Foxfire and Tank is the heart and soul of this story, but the other characters are charming, quirky, and unpredictable. Without them, the story would be incomplete. The emotions run the gamut of utter disbelief, bafflement, panic, joy, wonder, and the all-powerful love of family, friends, and pack. Foxfire's a true spitfire. Tank is a dominant alpha male. This partnership, much less any relationship, shouldn't work. But Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino are truly superstars who weave magic into their stories. This story is beyond incredible, and I give it my highest rating without hesitation. Congratulations, Renee Rose and Lee Savino! You've done it again!One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes.
